Sarajevo, May 11 2016 – Today, at the Annual Meeting of the Board of
Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London,
Bosnia and Herzegovina has been chosen to host this largest business forum in
2019.
Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations BiH Mirko Šarović has applied for BiH candidacy last
year at the EBRD meeting in Tbilisi, Georgia, and
after a number of technical and other assessments the candidacy has been
approved by 65 Governors from member countries.
Suma Chakrabarti has been
reselected as a President by a large majority of votes. He and minister Mirko
Šarović have had a bilateral meeting during the day, where EBRD's plans for
investments in BiH have been presented.
