Second Session of the Joint Committee between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ukraine established in accordance with the Agreement on Trade between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ukraine, held on October 12th, 2012 in Sarajevo

The Delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was led by Mrs. Ermina Salkicevic-Dizdarevic, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the Ukraine Delegation was led by the Ukrainian Government Commissioner on European Integration, Mr. Valery Pyatnitsky.
Apart from representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, the BiH Delegations consisted of representatives of the Ministry of Communication and Transport of BiH, Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The overall cooperation between the two countries was discussed at the me
eting with the aim of intensifying bilateral economic cooperation and encouraging mutual investment. Special attention was payed to the opportunities for improving cooperation in areas of mutual interest, such as transport, energy, industry and small and medium enterprises, agriculture and tourism. It was pointed out that the development of bilateral economic and trade relations has a significant contribution to the exchange of information related to trade and investment opportunities in the two countries, as well as to encouraging business entities to participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences in both countries.
