Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Mirko Šarović has shown through his work and efforts that politics can be in the service of economy and development, it was emphasized today at the Business Plus Conference held in Sarajevo which was aimed at bringing together the economy and government representatives to discuss problems and ways to solve them.

Getting the export market for chicken meat from our country is a great success. It is fortunate that we have Minister Šarović because he is the man who has been struggling to do something useful for businessmen," said the representatives of the company MADI. Similar attitudes were expressed by representatives of other participating companies from FBiH and RS.

Participating in talks with the businessmen, Minister Šarović emphasized that the main problems of Bosnia and Herzegovina are not external borders and barriers, but internal barriers. “Slow decision making and failure to keep up with the best out there is the key problem of our system. While others are speeding forward in the fifth gear, we have constantly been in the third or fourth, and that's something I’ve been struggling with every day and trying to change," said the Minister.

The Minister assessed the conference itself as significant exactly because businessmen play the main role, adding that "unlike politicians, they have no barriers because they know what the problems and obstacles to doing business are." "In my opinion, the key role of the governmental institutions is to be at the service of business people by making decisions in their favour, removing barriers and opening markets," said Minister Šarović.
