Ministar Sarovic at Atlantic Council Energy & Economic Summit „Building New Opportunities in a Dynamic Region“

  

Minister Sarovic took an active part at the Atlantic Council Energy & Economic Summit „Building New Opportunities in a Dynamic Region“in Istanbul (Turkey).

The goal of this Summit is to promote transatlantic values, interests and relationships in the region between Central Asia in the east and Europe and the Levant in the west. In addition to the central themes of the summit, the discussed issues included: Energy - Caspian gas and other new gas for Europe, shale gas, renewable energy sources (wind, solar and hydro power), as well as the broader marketing flows; Business and Economy - growth strategy for the post-financial crisis, the development of transport and telecommunications, and the revival of the Silk Road; and Politics - foreign policy after the elections in the U.S. business prospects and reform in the Arab world, and the report “Global Trends 2030”.

The Atlantic Council Energy and Economic Summit, now in its fourth year, continues to grow in scope and size in accordance with its mission to be the preeminent annual event on energy, politics, and business in the broader Black Sea and Caspian region; from Central Asia in the east to the Levant, the Balkans, and Central Europe in the west.
