Minister Šarović received media representatives from EU member states

Sarajevo, 28.5.2015 – Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of foreign trade and economic relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Šarović met today in Sarajevo with a delegation of journalists from EU member states. Their visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina from 27 to 30 May 2015 has been organized with the support of the European Commission.

The visit of journalists from prominent European media such as La Repubblica (IT), Politiken (DK), Der Standard (AT), Radio 24 (IT), SKAI (EL), Radio France (FR) i Die ZEIT (DE) to Bosnia and Herzegovina and its authorities at different levels aims at introducing the perspectives of BiH and reforms undertaken on BiH's path towards the EU family to these respectful journalists.

Minister Šarović familiarized the media representatives with the composition of Bosnia and Herzegovina, current political organization at the national level, tasks and work program of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also stressed that the goal for BiH to get EU candidate status by 2017.

The foreign journalists showed great interest in BiH exports of milk, and Minister Šarović informed them about the measures undertaken in that regard. He also explained other relevant issues related to BiH's path towards the EU.
