Minister Šarović visits businessmen in Herzegovina: Successful export of stone to China

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Mirko Šarović, during today's visit to the municipalities of Berkovići and Ljubinje, also visited the production facilities of the company "Kremnica", specializing in natural stone processing.

It is a company that processes the stone of Herzegovina and successfully exports it to China, with the tendency of further development and even greater employment of the local population.

"It seems unrealistic that the stone from Herzegovina is exported to distant China every month - 70 ship containers through the Port of Ploče, and soon even more," said Minister Šarović during the visit, and stressed that negotiations with Chinese investors are under way for new investments through the open investment line China + 16 and "One Belt, One Road".

The company "Kremnice" is a 100% Chinese investment, the only one in this part of the Republic of Srpska, whose value is over 4 million KM and whose entire production is exported to the Chinese market. The company currently employs 58 workers, mostly locals from local villages in this poor municipality.
