November 9, 2015 - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mr. Mirko Šarović, during his two-day visit to Islamic Republic of Iran, as the Chairman of the joint economic committee between the two countries, met today with Mr. Eshaq Jahangiri, first Vice President of Islamic Republic of Iran, Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade Mr. Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, and Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Mr. Ali Tayyeb-Niem.
Key topics discussed, during the very eventful conversation, were creating the conditions for the return of BiH companies on the Iranian market. Significant progress has been made in the negotiations of experts of the two sides about the new preferential (duty-free) list of products from BiH, which will be able to be exported at preferential regime in Iran, as well as dealing with the payment system issue. Twenty companies interested in exporting to and working in Iran, and well as the representatives of the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber were in the delegation with the Minister Šarović.
During this visit a major business forum was organized, which was opened in Tehran by Minister Šarović and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Iran Mr. Mohsen Jalalpour.
