Ministers Košarac and Jabbarov Discussed The Epidemiological Situation in BiH and Azerbaijan

Today, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac, spoke via telephone with the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, about the current epidemiological situation caused by the spread of coronavirus.

Ministers Košarac and Jabbarov exchanged information on measures the two countries are taking to combat the negative effects of the epidemic, with an emphasis on the work of the Health sector.

During the discussions, it was stated that Azerbaijan is aware of the situation in BiH and it is ready to help and react in an appropriate way if the epidemiological situation becomes more complicated. The two ministers agreed that BiH would send its possible requests for assistance through the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Sarajevo.

During the conversation with Minister Jabbarov, Minister Košarac conveyed greetings to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on behalf of the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik.
