Ministers Šarović and Ljajić talked about removing non-tariff barriers

1 June 2016- Today in Belgrade, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations BiH Mirko Šarović met with Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia Rasim Ljajić.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia Snežana Bogosavljević-Bošković.
Ministers Šarović and Ljajić discussed the removal of non-tariff barriers to trade in countries of the region, which was one of the key recommendations of the recently held Summit 100 in Sarajevo.
Minster Šarović has particularly presented Minister Ljajić the complaints of BiH companies that deal with the export of poultry meat and the barriers they face in the Republic of Serbia, especially those related to laboratory analysis.
The ministers agreed that the competent ministries of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia organize a meeting of the competent inspection authorities of the two countries, as soon as possible, in order to eliminate barriers in the highly developed trade cooperation.
