Third meeting on "Ensuring the conditions for export of milk and dairy products to the EU"

Sector for Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Rural Development of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, at the request of the Association of milk producers, organized a meeting in Sarajevo on 19.10.2011 on "Providing conditions for the export of milk and dairy products to the EU.“

The meeting was attended, next to the organizers, by representatives of the Dairy Association, Veterinary Office and Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the meeting, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations spoke about previously held meetings and implemented activities, while the representatives of the dairy sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina spoke about providing conditions for the export of milk and dairy products to the European Union, and they particularly pointed out the problems related to exports of dairy products to Kosovo. As they pointed out, from the second half of July 2011, Kosovo has introduced a 10% duty on imports of milk and dairy products, which is contrary to the CEFTA.
