Signed Media Relations Protocols for the upcoming Annual Meeting of the EBRD

Today, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Mirko Sarovic, signed media protocols with media representatives related to the upcoming Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Thus, the media support in following the events and achieving a common goal of quality and objective presentation of the importance of this large investment event has been formalized.

 

 

Emphasizing the importance of adequate public information, Minister Sarovic thanked media representatives for recognizing this significant opportunity to promote our country's potential and to open up new development opportunities.

 

"Bosnia and Herzegovina will be on the focus of the interest of the largest investors in Europe and the world in a month. It is for us all to take this opportunity together and, which I find particularly important, to enable investment in projects that will lead to more employment and prevent, unfortunately all the more massive departure from Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Minister Sarovic.

 

As a reminder, on 7, 8 and 9 May of this year, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be the host country of one of the most significant events in the last twenty years - the Annual Meeting of the EBRD’s Board of Governors, as well as other parallel activities such as investment conferences and business forum. It is estimated that BiH will host more than 2,000 representatives of the international business community, investors, senior government officials (EBRD governors, ministers of finance, economy, treasury or the Central Bank) and representatives of the civil society organizations.
