Drafts of Law on Food, Veterinary Law in BiH and Law on Amendments to the Law on Agriculture, Nutrition and Rural Development of BiH submitted to relevant institutions



The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, in cooperation with other relevant institutions, has prepared texts of the Draft Law on Food, Draft Veterinary Law in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Agriculture, Nutrition and Rural Development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The draft laws have been submitted to the relevant institution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Srpska, the Federation of BiH, and the Brčko District today, 22.5.2015, for their opinion.

Passing these laws is necessary in order to meet the conditions for export of agricultural products, especially milk and milk products, to the European market.

After the competent institutions give their opinions, the laws will be submitted for further procedure to the Council of Ministers of BiH and the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
