First preliminary indicators of foreign trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first quarter of 2013 are better than for the same period of 2012

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović said that in the first three months of this year BiH exports totaled one billion nine hundred thirty-five million, six hundred and eighty thousand KM (KM 1,935,680,000.00), achieving an increase of 9.75% compared to the first quarter of 2012, while imports amounted to three billion and four hundred twenty-eight million, five hundred and ten thousand KM (KM 3,428,510,000) which is approximately the same as last year in this reporting period.

These indicators, said Minister Šarović, show a continuous positive trend in the months of January, February and March 2013, increasing the export-import ratio from 51.47% to 56.46%.

The highest growth was achieved in exports to EU and CEFTA countries.
