Sarajevo, 27.1.2015 - Given the great interest the media shows in relation to the issuance of export permits for foreign trade in goods listed in the Common Military List to Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina wishes to inform the public about the following:

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Vjekoslav Bevanda, based on the resignation of Mr Boris Tučić, on the same day, 22.1.2015, brought a decision on Mr Tučić’s dismissal. However, the Office of the Deputy Minister came into possession of the official seal of the Ministry only at the end of the day on Friday, 23.1.2015, and there is a record of it. The seal is used to authenticate official documents of the Ministry.

The first working day of the Deputy Minister with the authority of the Minister was Monday, 26.1.2015. Given that the Office of the Minister led all activities associated with a specific permit and all other tasks and duties of the Ministry alone, leaving the Office of the Deputy and the Deputy Minister herself completely excluded, on Monday (26.01.2015) the competent authorities were asked to urgently prepare and present all the relevant facts of this case and any other cases of export licenses issued in the previous period to the Deputy Minister.

After a complete overview of the entire procedure and the subject in question, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina may be able to give further information to the public.
