Šarović - Constantinescu: BiH exports to Romania steadily growing

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Šarović met today with Ambassador of Romania to BiH to Dan Constantinescu. It was noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania have continuous good foreign trade cooperation, and that exports from BiH to this country are constantly increasing.

“Exports to Romania in 2017 were about 30% higher than last year," said Minister Šarović at the meeting, adding that the growing tendency of exports continued this year as well, and in the first quarter of 2018 an increase was recorded of about 40%.

Special attention at the meeting was dedicated to strengthening investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Romania's Ambassador stressed that Romania wants to further strengthen the co-operation with BiH through linking chambers of commerce and entrepreneurs.

Minister Šarović was invited to participate in the panel within the Big Business Forum "The Three Seas Initiative", which will be held in Bucharest in mid-September, aimed at economic integration of EU and Western Balkan countries / EU Eastern Partnership countries.
