Minister Mirko Šarović met with Her Excellency Ambassador Ulrike Maria Knotz

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović received a visit from Her Excellency Ambassador Ulrike Maria Knotz, German Ambassador to BiH

Several subjects of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting and it was pointed out that trade between the two countries is growing steadily and that this trend is expected to continue during 2013. By all indicators, Germany is in the first place when it comes to the foreign trade of BiH with the world.

One of the topics was the fulfillment of the conditions that Bosnia and Herzegovina has to fulfill in order to be able to export to the EU after Croatia’s accession, with a particular emphasis on the dairy MEGGLE as one of the most important German company that has been present in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, Minister Šarović asked Ms. Knotz to mediate organizing a meeting with German representatives with whom he would discuss the possibility of increasing the number of detachments for BiH offices in Germany.
