Minister Sarovic received the Ambassador of Slovakia to BiH

 Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relation of BiH, Mr. Mirko Sarovic met today the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Miroslav Mojzita.

Both sides agreed that in the past year there have been significant shifts in economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Sarovic particularly emphasized the fact that in the past year exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Slovakia increased by more than 100% and that Slovakia is one of the few countries with which BiH has a balanced export-import ratio.

Despite this fact, both Minister Sarovic and Ambassador Mojzita agreed that economic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Slovak Republic can further develop and that to this end an initiative should be launched for holding the first meeting of the Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation in September 2012.
