On 20.11.2013 (Wednesday) the seventh CEFTA Committee Meeting will be held in Sarajevo, Hotel Bristol, Fra Filipa Lastrića 2, room Sarajevo, orginezed by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This ministerial-level meeting represents an excellent opportunity to analyze the previous activities, support activities that will be undertaken and again confirme the strong commitment of the CEFTA Parties to achieving the objectives set by the Agreement. During the chairing of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the CEFTA structures have also been involved in the preparation of the Pillar of Integrated Growth of the Strategy 2020 for South East Europe (SEE 2020 Strategy). The aim of this pillar is to promote regional trade and related investment and policies that are non-discriminatory, transparent and predictable, and to increase the flow of investments, goods, services and people in the region. The Joint Committee Meeting will be attended by Ministers of CEFTA Parties or their representatives.
A press conference is planned for 20.11.2013 at 17.15, after the Ministerial Meeting. The press will be addressed by Mrs Ermina Salkičević-Dizdarević, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Mr Valon Saraqini, Minister of Economy of the FYR Macedonia as the next Chair-in-Office of the CEFTA 2006 Agreement in 2014.
