INVITATION TO THE PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS

 

FOR

 ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK

The documents were prepared under the Technical Assistance for the Preparation of the GEF-SCCF WBDRBM Project. The objective of the Project is to assist the countries of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Republic of Serbia and Montenegro achieve improved planning and implementation for integrated, cooperative management of the transboundary Drina river basin and address climate change adaptation. The Project will further help meet objectives related to climate change adaptation (but also to climate change mitigation) and thus meet the short- and long-term objectives of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Strategy on Adaptation to Climate Change.

Presentation of documents will be held on the premises of Municipality of Zvornik (municipal hall, Ulica Svetog Save 124, Zvornik) on January 19, 2016, at 14:00 hours.


10.03.2016.

A public consultation meeting for presenting and discussing the drafts of the above mentioned documents was held on 19 January 2016 in the premises of the Municipality of Zvornik. The objectives, components and envisaged results of the Project, as well as the drafts of the prepared Project documents were presented at the meeting,  and participants were encouraged to raise their concerns and issues related to the Project. The Minutes of the Consultation Meeting are an integral part of the documents.
