Soon in the large Chinese market

At the invitation of Minister of Trade of the Pople's Republic of China, Zhong Shan, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Mirko Šarović participated at the Third Ministerial Conference on Trade and Economic Cooperation "16 + 1" in Ningbo, aimed at strengthening the cooperation between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

During a conversation with the Chinese Minister, it was confirmed that Bosnia and Herzegovina had concluded negotiations with China on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine, which would enable domestic food exporters very quickly to enter the large Chinese market. The signing of this important contract was announced for the 16 + 1 Summit in Sofia on 7 July 2018.

Minister Šarović met today also with Minister of International Trade of the People's Republic of China, Fu Zi Ying, and it was concluded during the meeting that the recent entry into force of the visa-free regime between BiH and China will bring 100,000 Chinese tourists to BiH next year and significantly improve the economic cooperation between the two countries.

During the visit, the Minister also met with the Governor of the Zhejiang Province and visited the exhibition stands of our companies and businessmen, predominantly winemakers, who are participating in this year's international Ningbo Expo.

Minister of Trade of the People's Republic of China, Zhong Shan invited Minister Šarović and businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina to take part in the upcoming Shanghai Import Fair in November, which will gather thousands of Chinese companies who import goods from around the world.
