Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Mrs. Ermina Salkicevic-Dizdarevic attended 14 China International Travel Mart for Travel & Tourism (CITN) in Shanghai

November 18th, 2012 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Mrs. Ermina Salkicevic-Dizdarevic presented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 14th China International Travel Mart (CITM) held from 14 to 18 November 2012 in Shanghai, the People's Republic of China. The CITM 2012 was jointly organized by China National Tourism Administration, Shanghai Municipal People's Government and Civil Aviation Administration of China.

The China International Travel Mart (CITM) is the largest professional travel mart in Asia and an important basis for improving tourist exchange between China and other countries.
Deputy Minister Ermina Salkicevic-Dizdarevic presented the tourism potentials and products of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the China International Travel Mart.
More than 2000 exhibitors participated in the event from more than 100 countries. Besides BiH, another 15 countries from Central and Eastern Europe promoted tourism (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia).

During the visit, there was a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Song Tao and Mr. Zhu Shanzhong, Vice Chairman of the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), with whom Deputy Minister Salkicevic-Dizdarevic discussed tourism potentials of BiH, and the manner in which China and the CNTA can help to better promote Bosnia and Herzegovina in China. The overall ceremony was closed with a presentation of Russian tourism in China.
Deputy Minister’s visit to People's Republic of China was followed by a series of bilateral meetings with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, where they discussed the implementation of the conclusions of the Conference and the conclusion of the high-level meeting held in Warsaw.
