Competences:
preparation of documentation for the conclusion and execution of bilateral agreements on trade and economy, as well as bilateral agreements on promotion and protection of investments;
preparation for conclusion of multilateral trade agreements and their execution;
monitoring cooperation with international and regional organizations, agreements and regional initiatives;
cooperation with European Union Bodies and Permanent Mission of BiH in Brussels, including cooperation with Foreign Trade Chamber of Commerce BiH and other competent bodies at all levels, on issues related to the commercial aspect of the process of the accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union;
preparing, conducting and coordinating the process of BiH admission to World Trade Organization (WTO), and monitoring the implementation of obligations arising from membership in this organization;
collection and proccession of foreign trade statistics to be used for analysis, reports and information and other technical materials for the Ministry and the Council of Ministers of BiH;
monitoring and analysing of bilateral economic cooperation;
preparation of information and platforms for bilateral meetings and negotiations with foreign government representatives, as well as preparing reports on these meetings;
implementation of the part of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement related to trade and other trade agreements with the EU and its members;
monitoring and implementation of the obligations regarding memebership in Central European Free Tarde Agreement (CEFTA).
