Meeting of the Working Groups on Energy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Russian Federation

The first meeting of the Working Groups on Energy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Russian Federation has been held in Sarajevo today to address key open issues between the two countries and to cooperate on capital projects such as the construction of new and modernization of existing thermal power plants.

 

At the meeting it was agreed, among other things, that Bosnia and Herzegovina should declare as soon as possible in what manner and within what deadlines it plans to settle the gas debt.

 

Also, information related to the field of energy sector was exchanged and cooperation between the companies of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Russian Federation was agreed.

 

The meeting was attended, among others, by Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Mirko Sarovic and Russian Ambassador to BiH, Peter Ivantsov.
